Today's another edition of Playlist Monday! This is a meme hosted here at We Fancy Books where we feature a playlist from a book. I always wanted to hear what songs would authors like to hear while writing a book. What significance would it be for the book and why they liked the song.
Today I'm featuring a the Playlist of Mary Ting's Crossroads and Between
The main theme behind Crossroads is about forbidden love. Though these songs are not about forbidden love, the lyrics are very touching and it reminds me of the way Claudia and Michael feel for each other.

For Between, Michael sings "At Last" to Claudia up in the clouds. This is their special song. Davin also sings to Claudia too,
It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday -Boyz II Men This is the song he sings before something sad happens. Good Life from One Republic was a song I would blast will driving to work. It put me in a good mood. It also reminded me the way Davin is almost always positive, funny and how he deals with danger- with humor.

Mary Ting resides in Southern California with her husband and two children. She enjoys oil painting and making jewelry. Writing Crossroads was a way to grieve the death of her beloved grandmother. It was inspired by a dream she once had as a young girl.

ReplyDeleteThese books are fabulous and so much more than a paranormal romance. The story goes much deeper than that.
I have gotten to know Mary through the internet and she is a wonderful person. She always takes the time to answer her fans.
